Safety Hazard Recognition Training
According to Ontario’s Health & Safety Act employers, supervisors and workers must be aware of hazards and dangers to workers in the workplace. Workers have the “Right to Know” about the hazards of the work they are doing. These hazards often cause injury to personnel, damage to equipment and product as well as reduce the efficiency of the operation. Our Safety Hazard training enables workers to recognize the hazards associated with the tasks they are asked to perform, follow recognized safe practices and take steps to control these hazards. The H & S Act states very clearly that workers, supervisors and employers are all required to know the hazards in the work they do. Recognizing hazards is the first step in the control of hazards and the control of hazards makes for a safer workplace.
